My nephew has this dream internship for the summer with the electric car company Tesla. When my family all got together for the 4th of July, a big American holiday, he got to drive down in a company car. For you down in New Zealand (I am not really the one to ask) their cheapest car costs $90,000 US, so I usually triple everything on the island, so that would put it some where above $200,000 NZD. If it were even possible to get it with the driver seated on the right.
Everyone at work was jealous. And a homeless person even laughed when my dad said he wanted to drive in the fancy car.
For you car buffs. It was smooth. It was fast. It was impressive. The 15" computer screen alone was bigger than the lap top I have been using.
I think you probably could even watch a movie on it. I'm not sure how that would compare with the safety of driving while talking on a cell phone.
My nephew was having a lot of fun testing the limits a little. Eyes turned even though there were several we saw on the road.
But for me it was all in the details.
The door knob closed and opened,
was sweet.
The tail light that transformed into, "What?", a socket for charging,
was way sweet.
